With most of us living in cities and urban areas dictated by the need to accommodate a growing population, functional design and pleasing aesthetics have greatly suffered. This lack of planning has resulted in the evolution of an environment that generates not only a physically unhealthy atmosphere, but a psychologically unhealthy one as well.
Inevitably, we are products of our environment and when the places in which we are living are disjointed, then so are our lives. Many of us crawl through traffic jams towards jobs we hate, only to be allowed scarcely enough to time to consume “convenient”, unhealthy food on a daily basis. Day by day these poisons attack not only our bodies but our minds. |
